After a 3 year break the annual ski holiday to Austria went ahead during the first week of the Easter holiday. 32 students and 3 members of staff made the trip to the Ski Amade region of Austria to ski the slopes of Alpendorf, Wargrin and Flachau.
What a wonderful time was had by all.
Sunny weather was the order of the day, most days, and with lots of beginners on the trip it was perfect weather in which to learn to ski.
The group was split into 3 groups, each with their own ski instructor that looked after them for the full day. The day was split into ski lessons, putting the lesson into practice and café stops to refuel.
Each evening saw different activities take place, the swimming at Therme Armade was probably the highlight, but the evening playing pool was also enjoyed by all.
The end of the week saw each student receive a certificate from their instructor as well as a real sense of achievement of having learnt new skills, as well as making a new set of friends.
