Headteacher’s Blog 09/11/2018

It was great to see so many Year 7 parents and carers at our ‘Preparing for success’ evening yesterday. 95% of parents said they found the evening to be most helpful.

Students throughout the school, have helped to create a very poignant display to mark 100 years since the Armistice was signed, bringing an end to the First World War.

The ‘Last Post’ was played and a minute’s silence was held today to remember the fallen. Our students behaved impeccably throughout, demonstrating the utmost respect.

Twelve of our Year 9 students have today gone to Bradford Media Museum, as part of their work with the Brilliant Club. I will update you about how they got on in my blog next week.

As you may have seen on our website, Amar in Year 9 has had success in his boxing. Well done to Amar!

Year 11 have had a busy week this week, undertaking their French and German speaking mock exams.

Next week and the week after, they will be completing mock exams for all of their other subjects. Good luck to all!
