Welcome to my blog.

We have had a great first week back after the half term holiday.

You may recall a few weeks ago, I told you about Bethany, a keen archer from Year 9.

I am pleased to say she has done really well in her recent competitions, winning Gold and Silver medals, beating her personal bests and taking the Yorkshire and Northern County Record. Well done.

I was delighted to be invited to our Designated Specialist Provision students’ rendition of Romeo and Juliet today. Students’ had worked really hard, learning their lines and building up their confidence to perform in front of a small audience. I felt as though I was there in fair Verona with them! Well done to Blake, Neil and Mason.

Students in one of our Year 8 classes will be raising funds for Cancer Support Yorkshire next week by having a sweets in a jar competition. Please see the flyer below:
