Headteacher’s Blog 28/02/2020

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Thank you to everyone that has made the effort to get in to school this week, during the treacherous weather!
Thankfully, the cold and wet weather hasn't dampened our students' enthusiasm.
Year 11 students have been working tirelessly all week, sitting their mock GCSE exams. The exams continue next week, so please keep up with your revision!

A HUGE well done and thank you to our Year 7 students, Ava and Harriet, who assisted with a litter pick on Sunday around Cow Close, Clayton, Low Lane and Beckfoot Thornton.
They helped to collect 12 bags of litter! A fantastic effort and real commitment shown!

Next week, our Year 12 students will be out of school on work experience. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to get a real flavour of working life and try working in a field of interest to them.

Finally, another HUGE well done, this time to one of our Year 13 students. I am thrilled to say that Yumn has an unconditional offer for Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge) university.  Very well done!
