Headteacher’s Blog 01/05/2020

Welcome to my blog.
I hope everyone is keeping well.

On Friday this week, it is the 75th anniversary of VE Day, marking the date at the end of the Second World War, when fighting against Nazi Germany came to an end in Europe.
In and amongst completing your usual school work, it would be great if students could design celebratory posters that we can display on the school gates to celebrate the occasion! Have a search on the internet to give you some ideas.
Please email posters to office@beckfootthornton.org by Thursday 7th May.
There will be a prize for the best entry!

I want to thank everyone for keeping going. We are really impressed with the work that continues to flood into school. The quality is excellent and it is great to see students being so proactive, with some even requesting extra work!

Whilst this is a really tough time, and I know some are starting to get a little fed up, you must know that by staying home, you are massively contributing to us beating the Coronavirus! Keep going, you are all doing a fantastic job. You are really proving yourselves to be the epitome of a Beckfoot Thornton learner:

Please keep sending us your brilliant work, either on Show My Homework, SAM Learning or to the office mailbox: office@beckfootthornton.org

Keep safe everyone.
