Headteacher’s Blog 12th June 2020

Hello and welcome to my blog,
Looks as though we are going to have a rainy weekend ahead!
We are really looking forward to welcoming our Year 10 students back into school from Monday.
All Year 10 families will be contacted and students (in four groups of 6 per group each day) will be provided with a two hour appointment to come into school to meet a teacher to have a well-being check and to review their home learning progress.
We have shared our risk assessment and associated controls on our website. We are following government advice and guidance.
I have no doubt that they will, but I must say that it is vital that students that are attending listen carefully to staff and follow all instructions given. This is in order to keep everyone safe!
I hope that you found our Frequently Asked Questions document to be helpful in answering any concerns that you may have.
Yet again, we have had some amazing work completed by our students this week. I am full of admiration and gratitude to the families and students that continue to make this happen. It may not feel like it sometimes, but it will really help you in the longer-term when we do eventually all get back into school.
As always, please keep an eye on the school website and school Facebook page, to keep up to date with the latest information about school re-opening and any other issues.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Enjoy the weekend.
Mr Richardson
