Headteacher’s Blog 09/10/2020

Welcome to my blog.

I think it is fair to say that this week didn’t go quite as we had planned!

As you will know from my communication earlier in the week, we had to follow guidance from Public Health England, and the Department for Education, to send some students home to self-isolate for 14 days.

Students and families of those asked to self-isolate have all been contacted, and work has been set for the students to complete remotely.

We had a wonderful graduation ceremony this morning for our first cohort of students to complete their work with the Brilliant Club. We are really impressed by their focus and resilience. Congratulations! Pictures will be in my blog next week!

This week, we have seen some amazing work coming through. You can see all of the work of the week pictures on the school website. I can’t wait for the day when we are able to have students back in meeting with myself to be congratulated in person!

I was absolutely thrilled to see how much our students and their families donated towards our Harvest project. By the end of Monday, this is how much had been collected…….by the end of Tuesday, it had doubled in size!

Thank you very much to everyone that donated to such a worthy cause.

Have a lovely weekend.
