Headteacher’s Blog 26/11/2020

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Before I tell you how great this week has been, could I please remind you that school is closed tomorrow Friday 27th November, as it is a staff training day. There are no school buses running and there will be no staff on site, so please do not send your child to school tomorrow. School will re-open at the normal time on Monday 30th November.

This week I have met with some amazing students. I received an unexpected letter from the Silly Squad. During the summer, they set up a reading competition, and I am delighted to say that three of our students were winners!

I also met with students in Years 7-9, who had completed their Inspiring Digital Enterprise Bronze Award.
Well done to the following students in Year 7; Meadow, Rohan and Ruby, Year 8; Seren and Kalista, and the following students in Year 9; Sebastian, Molly and Krystian. Well done to our summer readers and Digital Enterprisers!

I also would like to congratulate the following students have received the most achievement points this month (they have also not had a single behaviour code this month!):

Joshua S - Year 11
Sophie Mc - Year 10
Sunaya Year 9
Kyran - Year 8
Ruby K - Year 7

Incase you have not had chance to read the letter I sent out on MyEd yesterday, the last day of term will be Friday 18th of December 2020 and like previous years, will be an early finish.
Year groups will be dismissed at the following times:
Year 7 – 11.40am
Year 8 – 11.45am
Year 9 – 11.50am
Year 10 – 11.55am
Year 11 – 12.00pm

Currently, the bus company intends to have all our school bus services available at midday. Please be aware that due to COVID 19, this may be subject to change.

Have a great weekend....December next week!
