Beckfoot Thornton Workshop 'Of Real Worlds'
Drawing on Emily Brontë's ‘tremendous themes and minute observations’ of the natural landscape around her, as well as its inhabitants, students used photographs of nature and landscape to create collages.
Visual poems were then created using text cut directly from the works of Emily Brontë, along with objects found from the surrounding area.
Assembling these together using macro and standard photography on smart devices, we recorded our assemblages.
The work of our students will be displayed alongside works made with Thornton Primary and other local artists, at an exhibition which will run June-August 2018 at South Square Centre.
