Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Headteacher's Blog 19/11/2021

Welcome to my blog.
We have had another wonderful week here at Beckfoot Thornton.
We were thrilled to see that ex-student Matty Foulds was awarded 'Man of the Match' at Saturday's match against Port Vale which was televised on Sky Sports! He is now officially on the Beckfoot Thornton Honors board. Huge congratulations to Matty!
On Wednesday, students from Year 10 and Year 11 visited St James' Church in Thornton. Their visit was the first in a series of visits to places of worship, to allow students to gain a better understanding of other religions and to develop their tolerance to others.
