In the event of school being closed due to inclement weather, parents/carers will be notified via MyEd and the school website as early as possible. Lessons will be posted on Teams so that students can continue their studies.
In addition, information about school closures will also be available at the Bradford Schools Online (BSO) address below:
https://www.bradford.gov.uk/education-and-skills/school-holidays-and-term-dates/school-closures/
Parents and carers are advised to visit the Metro website below to check if school buses are running:

Please ensure that students are dressed for the winter weather; coats, gloves, scarves and sensible footwear.
As part of their Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) award, earlier this week, students in Year 9 worked with Emmaus, a UK charity that work to end homelessness. Students that undertake the DofE, have the opportunity to explore who they are, grow in confidence and develop their skills, allowing them to successfully navigate through life.
On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome Bradford College who came to speak to Year 11 about what they can offer students after they have finished their studying here. It was a really useful session.
I was very happy to receive a letter this week from Thornton Royal British Legion advising us that our Poppy Appeal this year raised £173.80! Thank you to everyone that bought a poppy.
Next week, we are looking forward to welcoming the families of our Year 11 students for the Year 11 parents' evening on Thursday 2nd December.
Enjoy the weekend.
