Next week, Oliver in Year 10 will be taking part in the Cyber SwitchUp Finals 2025 at the University of Hull, having made it to the last few from over 4500 participants for the second year running. Oliver qualified after taking part in the preliminary round at school as part of his GCSE Computer Science lessons, demonstrating remarkable knowledge and skill relating to cybersecurity and problem-solving.
There will be some really big organisations who will be attending the day such as Amazon Web Services, IBM, Civil Aviation Authority, The British Army, BAE Systems, British Esports, Royal Air Force and many more. The Live Finals Event of Cyber Switch Up promises to be a fantastic experience; it will include a competition element for all finalists with four fun and challenging exercises for them to test their skills and knowledge further in a bid to win trophies and prizes. We are very proud of his achievement.
