Thank you to all the families who joined one of our recent Communication Working Party groups. We really appreciate you giving up your time to share your experiences and help us continue improving how we communicate with you. We’re pleased to share some of the things that are already working well, along with the next steps we’ll be taking based on your helpful feedback.

What’s Working Well:

Families have noticed quicker responses on the phone, which is great to hear.

Please continue to let us know if you have any issues getting through or are cut off when on hold by emailing [email protected]

Many of you shared that you find Class Charts and email helpful for keeping track of information and contacting school.

Next Steps We Are Taking:

Based on your suggestions, we will be making a few improvements to help communication feel even clearer and easier:

Reintroducing an automated email reply for the main office inbox, so you know your message has arrived safely and what our expected response time is (within 48 hours).

Clearer information about why we use different communication methods, such as Class Charts, email, or phone calls—so everyone knows what to expect and how to reach the right team quickly.

Encouraging you to let us know their preferred method of response (email, Class Charts, or phone).

Creating a simple “You Said, We Did” update or regular letter, sharing the improvements already made and where to go for different types of queries.

Providing small, easy tips before each school holiday to support families who may find technology challenging—especially around using Class Charts.

Promoting our website, which has lots of helpful information that some families weren’t aware of.
