Library Monitors
In year 8 students can apply to train as volunteer monitors in our busy school library.
The duties our monitors carry out include scanning books at the library issue desk, returning books to the shelves and helping to look after our ever-expanding collection of resources. Library monitors are also on hand in the library at break and lunch to help other students to find books and to use the computers.
By volunteering their time our library monitors make a vital contribution to the successful delivery of our library service and acquire some great skills to equip them in later life.
